Nailed It – really cool string art!

This year was only the second year for Gem City Made, but Beavercreek Nazarene has been holding a Holiday Bazaar every November for over 25 years! We’ll make sure to post details about the Holiday Bazaar before the event in early November.
During the event, we made sure to visit every booth, and we saw a few familiar faces, but met a lot of great new vendors.

Crafty Con 2018
We attended Crafty Con 2018 at the Old Yellow Cab Building last week, and had a blast! There was a great crowd, and so many awesome crafts, from soaps and lotions, to chocolate truffles, amazing cross-stitch, hand-made jewelry, and more.
Crafty Con 2018 is Coming Soon!
Friday April 6, 2018 5-10 PM
The lure of hand crafted items is enough to get Dayton Unknown to come out. If it’s not enough for you, Crafty Con is also a fundraiser to raise money for Sideshow, a free celebration of the art and music scene in the Dayton area.
A lot of our favorite vendors from years past will be there again:
Dayton Crafty-Con 2016
If a craft show isn’t enough of a draw, it’s also a fundraising event for Sideshow, a free celebration of the art and music scene in Dayton. It’s not a commercial event; no price tags will be on these pieces. Since this is a non-profit event, artists are asked to help with setup and tear down of the event.
“The Sideshow is a community driven event. We are a diverse group of individuals who wish to express ourselves to the Dayton Metro area. There will be no monetary gain from this endeavor. The gains will be found in personal growth and human connection. The show will be supported solely by members of our community.” – Laurana Wong, Sideshow Originator
