On Saturday, May 17th, 2014, Dayton Unknown hosted our first event, the Dayton Unknown RiverWalk.
We started out the day meeting in front of the Engineers Club of Dayton, where we were granted access to the beautiful and historic building. The Engineers Club was founded in 1914 by Charles F. Kettering and Colonel Edward A. Deeds.
After exploring the Engineers Club, we headed across the street to Riverscape MetroPark to take part in the Dayton Inventors RiverWalk. The Riverwalk has seven sculptures representing the most prominent inventions from Dayton, as well as smaller tributes to the many other inventions from Dayton.
We had a fantastic time at our first event!
